General Questions About the Singapore Arrival Card
What is the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC)?
The Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) is a mandatory digital pre-arrival registration form administered by Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). It collects personal, travel, and health declaration information from all foreign visitors before they enter Singapore. It replaced the old paper disembarkation/embarkation card. Learn more at our SGAC overview page.
Is the Singapore Arrival Card still required in 2026?
Yes. The SGAC is mandatory in 2026 for all foreign nationals entering Singapore. Singapore’s government confirmed in 2023 that the SGAC will remain a permanent entry requirement as part of the country’s ongoing public health and border management strategy.
Is the Singapore Arrival Card free?
Yes – 100% free. There are no government fees for submitting the SGAC. The official ICA portal at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard is free to use. Be careful of third-party websites that may charge service fees – they are not necessary. See our fee guide.
How early can I submit the Singapore Arrival Card?
You can submit the SGAC up to 3 days before your arrival in Singapore, including the arrival day itself. The system will not allow submission more than 3 days in advance. See our processing time guide.
How long does SGAC submission take?
The form takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. Processing is instant – you receive confirmation immediately upon submission.
